What does Muscle Factor X do?
This is our Muscle Factor X review, a testosterone booster that is claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Muscle Mass
- Testosterone
But how well will it work for you?
In this review, we look closer at this supplement to see how well it really works.
This is what we’ve found:
What you need to know about the Muscle Factor X ingredients:
It’s on a proprietary blend and there’s only a few in here.
What’s a proprietary blend?
A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients used.
Instead, they’re grouped all together under one larger dosage.
This means you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it is overall.
We think there needs to be more clarity over what’s being used, and adding more study-backed testosterone boosters would help a lot here too.
Below, we’ve written up the main ingredients in this product, followed by our summary and suggestions on how it could be improved.
This is what you need to know:
L-Arginine
There are some advantages to L-Arginine, however, we doubt you’ll get to experience them in Muscle Factor X.
Why? Because studies have shown that this amino acid is broken down too quickly after it has been supplemented orally.
When working properly, L-Arginine helps to increase blood flow and circulation. The added bonus of this is that it can help with muscle pumps, endurance and even with blood flow to the testes.
This can all help with both your workouts, and your testosterone.
However, in this case you won’t get much benefit at all.
The second ingredient is much more important in Muscle Factor X, as Citrulline is the precursor to Arginine.
L-Citrulline
This is your main ingredient in Muscle Factor X, and it’s a shame that we don’t know what the dosage is.
L-Citrulline is an amino acid that is easily absorbed into your blood stream, and converted into L-Arginine afterwards by your body.
This gets you the benefits that we’ve already spoken about with supplementing L-Arginine, and it’s also been seen in some studies to help improve growth hormone levels.
However, studies have shown that you need a high dosage for it to work. The main results happening around the 6000 – 8000mg range. In a blend significantly less than that, you’re unlikely to get the desired results.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
On the whole, Muscle Factor X doesn’t have the best ingredients that we’ve seen in a testosterone booster.
The first issue is that it’s one big proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, so how can you know how effective it will be overall?
You can’t.
Not only that, there’s only two ingredients in here; multiple strains of L-Arginine and L-Citrulline.
The bottom line is that more testosterone boosters need to be added to this supplement.
Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid, Zinc, Magnesium and Fenugreek would all work well here.
D3 has been seen in several studies to effectively raise testosterone and bone health. It’s technically a hormone, and makes significant different when used regularly at a high dosage.
D-Aspartic Acid and Zinc can both be used for chemical reactions in your brain to promote the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). This is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone, the more of it you have in your system, the more support you will have.
Magnesium can help promote free testosterone by inhibiting Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) a protein that binds to T and makes it useless.
Whereas Fenugreek can help with libido, and also with blood sugar regulation. This can help manage insulin levels and support testosterone levels via homeostasis.
It’s a shame that none of these were used in Muscle Factor X.
Muscle Factor X Side Effects – Are there any?
Not that we’ve noticed. Although this isn’t the most effective testosterone booster that we’ve come across on the market, it isn’t dangerous.
You shouldn’t run into any side effects from supplementing this testosterone booster. If you are concerned however, we suggest speaking to your doctor before using it.
How effectively balanced are the servings in Muscle Factor X?
They could be better, there’s only two servings a day.
What’s the problem with this?
For each day, you’ll only get a few hours of benefit. The supply isn’t consistent enough to see fast results.
Ideally, what you need is a testosterone booster that has 3 – 4 servings a day. This gives you that constant supply of the nutrients you need to keep your T constantly on the rise, and away from returning to your baseline.
Is this the best Testosterone Booster?
No. There’s better:

Muscle Factor X Review Summary – Is it effective?
Overall, this isn’t the best testosterone booster that we’ve seen on the market.
From our Muscle Factor X review, this is what you need to know:
- Proprietary Blend – You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting.
- Some Ineffective Ingredients – Not all nutrients effectively promote testosterone.
- Servings Could Be Improved – 2 a day may not be enough for effective testosterone boosting.
- Missing Core Nutrients – More study-backed nutrients could be added to this testosterone booster.
Muxcle’s Verdict:
As you can see, this isn’t a testosterone booster that we would recommend adding to your stack.
