Just a few things to cover this week in our ongoing commitment to show you what’s new since our last update. Some big changes, some small changes and it’s all pushing towards a bigger and better Muxcle.com.
What’s new on Muxcle.com this week?
If you’ve had a click around the site recently, you’ll notice a few new changes that we’re slowly making to the site, and what direction it’s going in. Here are the main new features:
Muxcle’s New Homepage – ‘Start Here’
Having our articles up on the homepage are great, but it doesn’t really tell the story, who we are, and how we can help you. We had to change that.
We’ve updated the homepage to make it a hub for the site, whatever you’re looking for, the homepage is a good place to start. It shows you all the areas that we cover, and then clicking the icon takes you to that section and what articles you should read.
We admit it’s still a work in progress, more content is needed to really flesh it out, but it’s much better than what we had. The plan is to really develop that section so you can find what you’re looking for on the site, and fast.
This is something to keep your eye on, and we’ll let you know as more changes are made to the site.
As always, if you can’t find what you’re looking for we strongly suggest using the search bar – and if you still can’t find it, especially if it’s a product, email us and we’ll take a look at it for you.
New Menu Bar & Breadcrumbs
The old menu bar served a purpose, but you have to admit it was cramped and crowded. Not a good look at all for the site, especially in our subdomain language sites.
The new menu bar covers the essentials, and keeps the site looking cleaner. The pages that it used to link to are now on the homepage and under the right section. If someone’s looking for our ‘best fat burners’, they’ll still be able to find them on the side bar of our fat burning section and/or under the fat burner section on the homepage.
It helps keeps the information we suggest to you relevant, rather than someone learning about a nootropic seeing a link to our fat burner pages. Not a sensible move. This should make the site more navigable and easier to understand.
Speaking of being more navigable, we’ve added breadcrumbs to the site. These appear at the top of an article just before the content. It lets you know where you are the site and what steps you can get to jump back to the homepage, or the more on the category that content is in.
The bottom line is that Muxcle.com is a much easier website to navigate and we hope to make it even easier as time goes on.
Any New Content This Week?
The worst fat burning ingredients page has been taking a while, and we thank you for waiting. We’ve taken time to plow through some of the supplement requests you’ve been making to us this week, and that has kept us very busy.
The worst fat burners on the market is still coming, and it will be released soon.
So, what are the new reviews?
- Sleep by Wellthy – Sleep Aid Review by Rhonda
- Titan TRT by TestoUltra Alpha – Testosterone Booster Review by Doug
- VITALITY by Tane Laboratories – Testosterone Booster Review by Doug
- BURN by Inferno Nutrition – Fat Burner Review by Doug
Again, all big reviews, and was a lot of work researching them. Sleep by Wellthy being the most interesting one in there, a great sleep supplement but not so much as a fat burner, despite the claims made about it. You guys requested them, they’re there for you to use.
Anything Else Regarding Muxcle?
More content is coming. It always is. We’ll keep creating great if you keep creating a need. Deal?
If there’s anything in particular you want us to cover let us know. We’re always interested to hear your input.
What happened online this week?
As always, let’s take a look at some top stories in the online fitness community to see what everyone’s talking about.
Reddit: Should you wear a weighted vest 24/7?
A fun and interesting thought experiment this week came from Reddit’s r/Fitness. In it, user Crooksta808 asked whether wearing a weighted vest would help grow his calves.
He summed up his main goal in his final paragraph:
My hopes for this idea are that I gain overall strength just from always carrying around excess weight and that the slim hope that it affects the growth of my calf muscles, mimicking what happens to overweight people having huge calves. Of course I’d probably also improve my cardio which is a lacking point in my fitness plan (#teamnocardio). This would be done over my bulking period so that I’m making sure my body is adequately fueled for this type of nonsense.

A lot of the main comments in this thread were deleted, however, there was a great suggestion from user Misamba, who suggested isometric holds.
If you’re not sure what isometric holds are, here it is in a nutshell. They’re an exercise that typically involves lifting a weight to the point were your muscles are most under tension, then you hold it there until you fatigue. This is a great way for your body to exhaust that muscle group and pull in as many muscle fibers into play as it can.
It’s great for development, and when you think about it, it’s a great solution to Crooksta808’s problem. They’re trying to grow their calves. Developing them by exhausting all the muscle fibers in there would give them a great opportunity to grow. I imagine walking the morning after would be absolute hell.
If you want the whole thread, we’ve linked it all for you below:
Speaking of time under tension, we’re still building the new look for the site. We need to cook up more content!
We’ll see you again with more next week!
