Intro: What does this supplement do?
This is our review of Weight Loss Formula, which is supplement from VitaCore. It’s a stack which has claims to promote:
- Fat Loss
- Appetite Suppression
But how well will it work for you?
In this review, we look closer at this supplement to see how good it really is.
This is what we’ve found…
Ingredients: What is in this Weight Loss Formula?
There are some good options in here, but before we get into that we have to talk about the set up.
All the ingredients in here are in a proprietary blend. This is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages in their product, instead, they group the ingredients together under one larger dosage.
You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.
The lack of transparency isn’t ideal.
Below, we look at the ingredients in this supplement and also add on our summary and suggestions on how to improve it.
This is what you need to know:
This isn’t a great start to this weight loss formula. Garcinia Cambogia has claims to promote appetite suppression, but studies show that it may not be the case here.
The only time Garcinia has been seen to help reduce appetite is when it is used as a food seasoning. By increasing the flavor of a meal, Garcinia can help you to feel more satisfied after a meal, reducing your overall cravings.
However, supplementing it may be a different story as the flavor aspect is lost. It may not be effective here.
Green Coffee Bean
This is a much more effective option in VitaCore’s diet pill. Green Coffee Bean is an effective thermogenic.
So, how does it work?
Green Coffee Bean contains Chlorogenic Acid – this is what’s important here. When you absorb Chlorogenic Acid it reduces the glucose in your liver.
That glucose is what your body uses for energy. Without it, it has to make energy in other ways mainly by burning your body’s stored fat.
It’s a great addition to this supplement.
This however, is not a great choice in this supplement from VitaCore.
Although there are several claims that Raspberry Ketones can help promote weight and fat loss – more research shows this may not be the case.
The only times Raspberry Ketone has been able to achieve this is when it is supplemented in rats. When humans take it the results do not scale up. You’re unlikely to get much benefit.
This isn’t a strong choice either in this supplement.
Studies are still being done into African Mango (also known as Irvingia Gabonensis) however, there’s not a lot of evidence to show that it works.
So far nothing unique has been found in here to promote fat loss. The only thing that may be helping it is that it contains a small amount of fiber which can help with appetite suppression.
This is more of a supporting nutrient, but it is good to see in here.
Acai Berry contains Resveratrol. Resveratrol is a component found in fruits and berries which can help promote blood flow.
This can help with nutrient absorption and how quickly this supplement activates in your system.
It’s good to see in here.
Horny Goat Weed
This isn’t a strong choice at all in VitaCore’s Weight Loss Formula.
Because Horny Goat Weed has no links to fat loss. Also known as Epimedium, Horny Goat Weed is a nutrient that is thought to help boost testosterone. Right away, this isn’t what you’re looking for in this supplement.
Not only that, there’s no evidence to show that Epimedium can actually help raise testosterone.
The only way it may help is with a mild boost in libido, aside from that, you’re not going to notice much of a difference.
Another ingredient that won’t help with actual fat loss in this supplement.
So, what does L-Arginine do?
It’s an amino acid which is thought to help promote your overall levels of nitric oxide in your blood. This can help with muscle pumps and endurance.
However, studies show that when orally supplemented it isn’t absorbed effectively by your body.
You should be looking for a pre-cursor to L-Arginine which turns into the amino acid after your has absorbed it.
L-Citrulline would be a much better option. It would help your workouts, but its unlikely to do anything for your waistline.
This is a much better option in this weight loss formula from VitaCore.
Psyllium is a fiber extract which works well for digestion. It can help to absorb more nutrients, and speed up your bowels.
It can help by swelling in your stomach which can help you feel fuller for longer.
We’re glad to see it in here.
This is a good addition to this diet pill too.
Alfalfa has been seen to carry some anti-diabetic properties, which can help with fat loss.
With anti-diabetic properties, Alfalfa can help to regulate your blood sugar and insulin levels. This is important for fat loss.
High insulin levels increases your overall fat storage from the food you eat. Which is not ideal for fat loss.
By using something like Alfalfa, you can help keep your insulin levels under control and store less fat from the food you eat, helping to give your more support to keep the fat off.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
There are a few good ingredients in here, but we have to say there are better options out there.
The main drawback for us has to be the proprietary blend in Weight Loss Formula.
Without knowing how much of each ingredient you’re getting, it’s hard to know how effective it really is.
We like the Green Coffee Bean, Psyllium Husk and to some degree the Alfalfa and Acai. However, the rest of the ingredients are as focused on fat loss. They’re not as effective.
What would help VitaCore’s supplement?
Not using a proprietary blend would be a great start. Transparency would make this product look a lot better and more trustworthy.
It would also help by having more study supported thermogenics and appetite suppressants; Green Tea, Cayenne Pepper, Glucomannan, and Chromium will all work well here.
This is why they would help:
Green Tea – Thermogenic & Focus
This herb would work well because it contains a specific type of antioxidant known as catechins. Studies show these catechins can help promote your body’s levels of the fat burning hormone norepinephrine. The more norepinephrine you have in your system, the more fat you’ll burn over the day.
It also helps that Green Tea contains L-Theanine which is an amino acid which can help promote focus.
Cayenne Pepper – Thermogenic & Appetite Suppression
Another would-be good addition to VitaCore Weight Loss Formula too. It’s an effective thermogenic that contains Capsicum. Capsicum boosts your body’s core temperature which starts a cool down process in your system. The cooling process makes your body burn more calories than it does usually – which can help maximize your fat loss.
Not only that, studies show that Cayenne Pepper can promote appetite suppression. This can help control your hunger levels and keep you on track with your diet.
Glucomannan – Appetite Suppression
Another suggestion that we would like to see in VitaCore’s diet pill. Glucomannan is a fibrous complex that swells in your stomach which can make you feel fuller for longer.
This can help you stay on your diet. Additional research also shows that Glucomannan can help regulate cholesterol. It would fantastic to see in this product as it works in a similar way to Psyllium Husk.
Ingredients like this would be great in this supplement.
Safety Check: Are there any side effects in Weight Loss Formula?
We don’t think so. All the ingredients are natural and clean.
Although we don’t know the dosages due to the proprietary blend, the ingredients don’t have links to causing problems.
You shouldn’t have any issues. That said, you should always speak to your doctor before using it.
Directions: How are the servings in this VitaCore supplement?
There’s room for improvement, you’re recommended to take 2 capsules once a day.
One serving a day may not be the best set up. This is because a single serving typically only gives your a few hours of benefit each day.
Ideally, what you need is a supplement which has 3 – 4 servings a day. This gives your body a constant supply of the nutrients you need to keep your body in ‘fat burning mode’ for as long as possible.
It’s a shame it’s not set up to work like this.
Is this the best non-stim fat burner?

VitaCore Weight Loss Formula Review – Is it effective?
Some of the ingredients in this supplement are good for fat loss – however, it isn’t the most effective option we’ve come across on the market.
From our Weight Loss Formula review, this is what you need to know:
- Proprietary Blend – You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting in this supplement.
- Some Ineffective Ingredients – Not all nutrients in here promote weight loss.
- Missing Core Nutrients – More study-backed thermogenics and appetite suppressants would help here.
- Servings Could Be Higher – One serving a day may not be enough for the most effective results here.
As you can see, this isn’t the best diet pill that we would suggest adding to your stack.
