Intro: What does this supplement do?
This is our SLIM TRIM 2000 review. It’s a diet pill with claims to promote:
- Fat Loss
- Muscle Mass
But how well will it work for you?
In this review, we look closer at this supplement to seee how effective it really is.
This is what we’ve found:
What you need to know about the SLIM TRIM 2000 ingredients:
There’s only one ingredient in here. This isn’t a good sign.
Although Coleus Forshkolli has its advantages, SLIM TRIM 2000 can only be effective as this nutrient is. And research is still ongoing into that.
We think more study backed thermogenics and appetite suppressants would help this supplement a lot.
Below, we look closer at Coleus to see how effective it really is. We follow it up with our summary and suggestions on how to improve it.
As we have mentioned, this is the only ingredient in SLIM TRIM 2000.
There are claims that supplementing Coleus Forskohlii can help improve testosterone levels (which would help the muscle mass claim) and fat loss.
But what do the studies say?
The first study [a] carried out by Godard MP et al. It involved 2 doses of 250mg of Coleus over a 12 week period against a placebo group. The subjects were overweight and obese men.
At the end of the study, fat mass had gone down with the coleus group and testosterone had also been seen to rise relative to the placebo group overall.
Things to note about this study:
- Researchers reported that the effects were highly variable. It may not work for everyone.
- There was only 30 subjects, which is not a large sample.
- The subjects were all overweight or obese men. It does not represent the average person, or females for that matter.
The second study [b] comes from Henderson S et al. 23 overweight females used 250mg of Forskohlii twice daily for 12 weeks and ran against a placebo group.
The weight loss that was observed was not significant – but it was more effective than the placebo group.
However, it seemed to only affect weight, as the fat percentage in both groups stayed the same.
That said, the Coleus group felt less fatigued and less hungry. Which sounds promising.
Things to note about this study:
- Only 23 overweight women took part – and only half that took Coleus. It’s not enough information to make an informed decision whether it works.
- It only achieved weight loss – not fat loss. Muscle mass may have also been lost in the process.
Again, there’s not enough data to say that it works.
With such little information available. More research needs to be done before we can recommend Coleus as an effective fat burner.
SLIM TRIM 2000 would definitely benefit from more thermogenics and appetite suppressants behind it.

Nutrient Profile Overview:
As there’s only one ingredient in here, it’s not the best diet pill ingredient profile out there.
With some mixed results, it may not be your best option here – and it would be a lot better if there’s more thermogenics and appetite suppressants.
What ingredients would help here?
Green Tea, Green Coffee Bean, Cayenne Pepper, Glucomannan and Chromium would all be great additions to this supplement.
Below, we go into a little more detail about why they’d be a good fit here.
This would be the best option. Green Tea is a great thermogenic. It contains a specific kind of anti oxidant known as catechins. Catechins can help promote your overall levels of norepinephrine which is your body’s fat burning hormone. The more of this your body produces the more fat you’ll burn throughout the day.
It also contains L-Theanine which can help to promote your focus and cognition.
Another good suggestion. Green Coffee Bean contains chlorogenic acid. It can help to reduce your liver’s levels of glucose. Your body uses that glucose for energy, without it, it has to burn into your fat stores to make up the difference.
It’s a great way to burn more fat throughout the day.
This chili would work here too. Cayenne Pepper contains Capsicum which is what gives the chili its heat.
That’s effective because it can help to improve your body’s core temperature. It starts a cool down process in your body to regulate itself, and it requires more energy than normal. For extra energy, your body burns fat to give you more support. Not only that, Cayenne can also help as an appetite suppressant.
This would be another good option. Glucomannan is a fibrous complex that comes from the Konjac fruit.
After you consume it, it swells in your stomach making you feel fuller for longer. This can help keep your hunger levels down and make it easier for you to stay on your diet.
Glucomannan can also help to regulate your cholesterol.
A great mineral for fat loss. Chromium can help to regulate your blood sugar and insulin levels.
When your insulin levels are higher, your body stores more fat from the food you eat. By keeping your insulin levels under control, it’ll be easier for you to get your fat loss lower.
More ingredients like these would really help this supplement.
Safety Check: Side Effects are there any?
Not that we can see, Coleus Forskholii is still being researched, but it doesn’t appear dangerous according to recent studies.
Some side effects have been reported, but this is when it is taken through IV, not as a supplement.
If you have any concerns you should speak to your doctor before using it.
How effectively balanced are the servings?
There’s two a day, which is okay, but there could be more in SLIM TRIM 2000.
What makes us say this?
A typical serving only lasts for a few hours after taking it. Two a day may not be enough to ensure day-long fat loss.
Ideally, what you need is a supplement which has 3 – 4 servings a day. This may give your body that constant supply of the nutrients it needs to keep you burning fat day-long.

SLIM TRIM 2000 Review Summary – Is it effective?
As this is a supplement with only one ingredient, it has a lot of competition on the market, and is not the best available.
From our SLIM TRIM 2000 review, this is what you need to know:
- Missing Core Nutrients – More study backed ingrdients could be added to this supplement.
- Servings Could Be Improved – Two a day may not be enough for effective fat loss.
- Slim Nutrient Profile – One serving a day may not be enough for effective fat loss.
As you can see, this isn’t the best diet pill that we would recommend adding to your stack.
