What does Nutrakey Tone Complex do?
This is our Nutrakey Tone Complex review, a fat burner that has been claimed to promote:
- Weight Loss
- Focus and Energy
But how well will it work for you?
In this review, we look closer at this product to see how effective it really is.
This is what we’ve found:
What you need to know about the ingredients in Nutrakey Tone Complex:
It’s mainly a proprietary blend – which isn’t a good sign.
A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients used in their product.
Instead, they group all their ingredients together under one larger value. This means you don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used – or how effective it will be overall.
Not only that, some of the ingredients may cause side effects.
That said, it’s not all bad, with several effective thermogenic fat burners also being present in Nutrakey Tone Complex.
Here’s our write up of the main ingredients used, along with our overview and suggestions on how it could be improved:
This isn’t a great start to Nutrakey Tone Complex, leaving aside the fact that it’s also in a proprietary blend.
Garcinia Cambogia is a nutrient that has been used in numerous supplements with the thought that it can it help reduce your hunger cravings.
It was first thought to do this by how it was used to season meals and make them more satisfying – leaving people wanting less for longer.
However, studies have shown that when supplemented it doesn’t work as desired.
Humans supplementing Garcinia experience very little appettie suppression according to research.
It’s not the best option in Nutrakey Tone Complex to help curb your hunger pangs.
Green Coffee Bean
This is a much better option in Nutrakey Tone Complex. Green Coffee Bean is a fantastic thermogenic in any natural supplement.
Green Coffee Bean is packed with a nutrient known as chlorogenic acid.
Chlorogenic acid works by cutting down the glucose in your liver.
Why is this important?
Because it can help to burn fat.
Your body uses that glucose in your liver for energy. By using Chlorogenic acid to help cut it down, your body has to look for other resources to burn to keep your energy levels up – namely your fat cells.
This helps you to burn additional unwanted fat with no extra effort on your part.
Again, another great choice in Nutrakey Tone Complex. Green Tea is one of the best natural thermogenics on the market.
It contains numerous antioxidants which can help trigger fat loss. The main type of antioxidant that we’re interested in here is definitely the catechins.
Once absorbed by your body, catechins help to promote norepinephrine in your body. This is the fat burning hormone. The more of it you have in your body, the more fat you burn overall.
Green Tea also contains L-Theanine and Caffeine in trace amounts. This can help to promote focus and energy repsectively to a mild extent.
Grape Seed Extract
This isn’t a fat burner – but could help in other ways. Grape seed extract in Nutrakey Tone Complex has been seen to promote blood flow.
By improving your body’s circulation, it may be easier for you to absorb this fat burner and faster for it to activate.
It doesn’t directly burn fat – it’s not the best option in this product.
This isn’t a good choice in Nutrakey Tone Complex.
Citrus Aurantium is also known as Bitter Orange Extract and packed with Synephrine. It has been claimed to help promote energy levels and fat loss – however, studies have shown that it may not be your best option.
Not only does it have little to no effect at achieving these benefits in human studies – there’s a risk that this supplement may also cause side effects.
It could be a risky option. We’ve written up about the potential side effects associated with nutrient in the side effects section further down.
Again, this is another nutrient that doesn’t burn fat – but it can help in other ways.
The Vinpocetine in Nutrakey Tone Complex comes from the periwinkle plant. It has been seen to improve blood flow and also increase memory formation.
It can help your focus, but not so much your waistline.
Another nutrient that isn’t that effective in Nutrakey Tone Complex – Raspberry Ketones.
This is a nutrient that has been claimed numerous times in the supplements industry to help promote fat loss.
However, there haven’t actually been any human studies to fully confirm that it works. Raspberry Ketones has only been seen to work in rat studies – the results have never scaled up to people.
It doesn’t seem to deliver the results you’re looking for, and not only that Raspberry Ketone is banned in the EU and labelled as a ‘novel food’.
It’s not a great choice.
Alpha Lipoic Acid
This nutrient may have some benefit in Nutrakey Tone Complex – but more research needs to be done.
ALA has been seen in some research to help reduce blood glucose levels.
Why is this important?
Because it helps to reduce your body’s need to produce insulin. Insulin is the hormone your body creates to help lower your blood sugar. However, when you have high levels of insulin, you store more fat than usual.
The less insulin you have in your system, you have less risk of storing more fat.
If it works for you, it should have some benefit here.
One of the better amino acids out there on the market – however, we need to know the dosage to see how effective it’ll be in Nutrakey Tone Complex.
Carnitine has been linked to improving both energy and metabolism in numerous studies.
However, it is suggested that between 500 – 2500mg of this nutrient is used per daily serving. As we have no idea how much is being used, it is unclear if it will work for you here.
One of the better thermogenics out there on the market. Cayenne Pepper is a hot chilli that is used in Nutrakey Tone Complex.
It’s great for fat loss. Cayenne Pepper contains capsicum – which is what gives chilli their heat.
Once absorbed by your body, capsicum helps to increase your body’s overall core temperature. To manage the rise in heat, your body initiates a cooldown process.
This regulation process that your body performs burns additional calories and stored fat with no extra required effort on your part.
It’s a great addition to this product.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
On the whole, Nutrakey Tone Complex doesn’t have the best ingredients that you can find in a fat burner.
The first problem is that this is one big proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting – or how effective it will be overall.
Breaking it down, the best ingredients in this product are the Cayenne Pepper, Green Tea and the Green Coffee Bean.
The appetite suppressant here, the Garcinia Cambogia is not a great option – it would be better replaced with a more effective option like Glucomannan.
It would also be a great benefit if the proprietary blend was replaced with more detailed dosages of the individual ingredients used.
There’s also a side effect risk from the Citrus Aurantium, and the Raspberry Ketones have been banned in the EU as a ‘novel food’.
As you can see, there are several improvements that can be made to this product.
Nutrakey Tone Complex Review – Are there any side effects?
Your main concern here is the Citrus Aurantium, also known as Synephrine.
Although claimed to help burn fat and improve energy levels – there have been no studies that show it has these benefits in human testing.
Despite not having any benefits, it has been reported to have several side effects. Many users have claimed it causes:
- Raised Heart Rate
- Raised Blood Pressure
This is definitely not what you want while trying to burn fat, and the main risk in Nutrakey Tone Complex.
How effectively balanced are the servings in Nutrakey Tone Complex?
There’s only one serving a day – which means it isn’t that effectively balanced.
The problem with one serving a day is that the effects only last for a few hours at a time.
So you’re not going to be able to burn fat day-long.
This means you’ll only be burning additional fat for a short-time throughout the day.
Ideally, what you need is a fat burner that gives your body a constant supply of the nutrients it needs to keep burning fat day-long.
For the best results, be on the look out for a fat burner that has 3 – 4 servings a day.
Is this the best non-stim fat burner?
No. There’s better:
