Intro: What does this supplement claimed to do?

This is our review of VITALITY which is a testosterone booster from Tane Laboratories. It has claims to promote:

  • Muscle Mass
  • Libido
  • Testosterone
  • Strength
One bottle of VITALITY
This is a popular supplement that is mainly sold on Amazon.

But how well will it work for you?

In this review, we look closer at this supplement’s ingredients, safety and servings to see if you should use it.

This is what we’ve found…

Ingredients: What’s in VITALITY?

A lot of libido enhancers, more so than testosterone boosters and we think the supplement may have suffered because of this.

Not only that, it’s all one big proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients in their supplement.

Instead, what you get is a list with one big dosage that represents all the ingredients. The drawback from this is that you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it really is.

Below, we look closer at the ingredients in this supplement along with our summary and suggestions on how to improve it.

Here’s everything:

Ingredient list
As we’ve mentioned, it’s all under that huge 975mg dosage.

L-Arginine

This isn’t a great start to VITALITY. L-Arginine is not a testosterone booster, nor does it help with libido.

So, what does it do?

It’s an amino acid which is thought to help boost blood flow and muscle pumps, but is only capable of doing so under certain conditions.

This is because your body struggles to absorb it. The only way that you’ll be able to get any benefit out of this ingredient is that you take a precursor to it like L-Citrulline. That way, the Citrulline converts into Arginine after you’ve absorbed it which allows you to get the most out of it.

It’s not a great choice from Tane Laboratories.

Tribulus

This isn’t an effective option either. We’ve voiced our concerns numerous times about the effectiveness of Tribulus Terrestris is testosterone boosters.

The problem is that there’s no study out there to show that it works for humans. As of yet, there’s no study which shows Trubulus Terrestris promoting testosterone for us.

It’s had much better results in rat studies, but these do not scale up. The only way it may help in VITALITY is by giving your sex drive and libido a little support.

Eurycoma Longifolia

Also known as Tongkat Ali, and Longjack. This is another ingredient that won’t do much for testosterone in this supplement.

It’s very similar in effect to Tribulus in the fact that it has only been seen to have any noticeable effect on testosterone in rat studies. Unfortunately, just like Tribulus, it does not help testosterone in humans.

Again, it may only help here as a libido enhancer, some cases have even show it to help as a pro-erectile. However, more research is needed to confirm this.

Horny Goat Weed

Another herb in Tane Laboratories’ VITALITY that won’t help with your levels of the male hormone.

Horny Goat Weed is also known as Epimedium and has not been seen to help promote testosterone. The only thing that it may do for you here is help raise your sex drive to some extent.

Aside from that you’re not going to notice it doing much in this supplement.

Saw Palmetto

Again, not a testosterone booster – but Saw Palmetto isn’t intended to be. It was selected by Tane Laboratories for different reasons.

The main way Saw Palmetto can help is by promoting prostate health. Supplementing this ingredient can help boost support to your prostate and even help to reduce any symptoms of hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

It’s a nice natural support, but is not better than actual medicine if you are suffering from the condition. If you’re not, it can help keep your prostate regulated by natural means.

Muira Puama

An ingredient in VITALITY which is also known as potency wood, and thought to help with libido.

However, studies show that this is not the case. Nothing has been proven so far. However, it does seem more promising when it comes to focus and brain power.

Some studies suggest that supplementing Muira Puama may help to improve your overall cognition, which could make it easier to concentrate.

It’s a nice bonus, but we can’t see it helping your testosterone.

Black Pepper

This isn’t a testosterone booster either, but Black Pepper is more of a supporting ingredient chosen by Tane Laboratories.

We say this because Black Pepper can help with nutrient absorption. This can help you get more out of the ingredients that are already in this supplement and allow them to absorb into your body at a much faster rate.

Three bottles of VITALITY
Despite the ingredients, it’s got a great clean red and white design.

Overview: Nutrient Profile

If you’re looking to use VITALITY as a testosterone booster, it’s not a good option. However, if you’re more focused on boosting your libido, it might help.

The main ingredients in here seem to be nutrients that were once claimed to help testosterone, research shows they only help sex drive.

Good examples of this are the Tribulus Terrestris, Longjack and Horny Goat Weed which is used in this supplement.

They’re not great options if want more muscle mass.

We also have a problem with the ingredients all being displayed under a proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, so it’s hard to know how effective it really is.

A lot needs to change for this supplement to function well as a testosterone booster.

Our Suggestion: What could help Tane Laboratories here?

Removing the proprietary blend would be a good start, as this shows transparency with the ingredients used.

Secondly, removing the Tribulus, Longjack, Horny Goat Weed and L-Arginine. For the L-Arginine, you just need a healthy amount of L-Citrulline for it to absorb and actually deliver the effects of L-Arginine.

Better choices for the testosterone aspects would be:

Vitamin D3

This would be a great addition to VITALITY. Vitamin D3 is great for general health and testosterone. It’s technically a hormone, and an essential nutrient.

Studies show that most people don’t get enough Vitamin D3 throughout the day. This is because your body naturally absorbs it with you skin from the sun’s rays.

As most of us spend a lot of our time working indoors, you’re unlikely to get the optimum amount throughout the day to boost your testosterone.

By supplementing D3, you can help restore the balance in your body and give your testosterone levels more of a support to rise.

D-Aspartic Acid & Zinc

These ingredients are together in our suggestion as they both help in the same way.

Zinc and DAA can both help with testosterone production. After you consume them, they can both be used by your body to help create the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). This is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone.

The more of it you have in your system, the more support your body has to raise your testosterone levels.

Magnesium & Stinging Nettle

We’ve done this again with Magnesium and Nettle as they also both operate in the same way. However, these two help increase your overall levels of free testosterone.

Free testosterone is the amount of the male hormone in your blood that you have readily available to you. The more you have available the better.

A protein in your blood known as Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) binds to your testosterone and reduces its overall anabolic potency.

This makes the affected testosterone ineffective. Supplementing Magnesium and Nettle can help as they can both bind to SHBG and reduce its overall effect on testosterone in your blood. This can help free up your testosterone and make it more available to you.

Fenugreek

This would be another good option to use in Tane Laboratories’ VITALITY. Fenugreek is good for libido, but it has some advantages which can help you with testosterone too.

It can help because it regulates blood sugar and insulin levels. When your insulin levels are higher, your testosterone levels. This is due to homeostasis, which is a hormonal balancing act in your body – the more you have of one hormone, the less you have of another.

By using something like Fenugreek, you can help keep your insulin levels under tighter control, which can create a better internal atmosphere for your testosterone to rise.

Boron

This is the last ingredient that we’re suggesting be added to this supplement.

Boron has some solid studies behind it when it comes to testosterone. There’s a lot out there that suggests that it can help raise testosterone, while also lowering estrogen levels – something not a lot of other t-boosting ingredients are capable of.

It would be good to see in here.

Safety Checks: Are there any side effects?

Not that we can see. It may be a proprietary blend, but all the ingredients in VITALITY have not been linked to causing side effects.

We believe it is safe to use.

However, we cannot account for everyone. If you have any pre-existing conditions, or have any concerns, you should always speak to a doctor before using a supplement like this.

Instructions: How are the servings in VITALITY?

One a day, which is convenient, but far from ideal.

Why?

Because a single serving only lasts for a few hours. The problem wit this is that it doesn’t cover you for a full day to keep your testosterone rising.

Ideally, what you need is a testosterone booster which has 3 – 4 servings a day. This gives your body a constant supply of the nutrients you need to keep your testosterone levels on the rise for as long as possible.

It would be better if it was set up to work like this.

Is this the best Testosterone Booster?

No. There’s better:

We review an endless amount of testosterone boosters every month searching for the most effective one on the market.

We look for supplements that deliver:

  • Effective Testosterone Production
  • 100% Natural Ingredients
  • Increases in Overall Free Testosterone
  • Noticeable Strength Boosts
  • More Energy
  • Enhanced Mood and Sex Drive
  • Faster Recovery and Muscle Growth
  • Value for Money
  • Results

Review Summary: Is Tane Laboratories’ VITALITY effective?

From our review, it’s clear to us that this is much more of a libido enhancer than it is a testosterone booster.

If you want to use this supplement for bodybuilding or gaining muscle mass, it’s not a good option. However, if you want more libido – it’s passable.

These are our main concerns with VITALITY:

  1. Proprietary Blend – You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it is overall.
  2. Some Ineffective Ingredients – Not all choices in here have studies to show they support testosterone.
  3. Missing Core Nutrients – There’s a lot that could be added to make this supplement more effective.
  4. Servings Could Be Better – One a day may not be enough for maximum testosterone boosting.

Muxcle’s Verdict:

In our opinion, this isn’t the best option that we would recommend adding to your stack.
