Editor’s Note:

Prime Male isn’t the best testoterone booster on the market for muscle gains – but it’s definitely the best we’ve seen for sex drive and low testosterone.

With carefully selected nutrients to combat high estrogen levels and other testosterone inhibiting factors. It’s ideal for the older man who wants to optimize his hormonal balance, and reclaim some vitality.

Hell, it’s that good that even Hollywood actor Dolph Lundgren has endorsed it.

If you want to give your testosterone levels that added support – this is the supplement you need to be considering.

What does Prime Male do?

Made by Propura, Prime Male is an all natural testosterone booster that is typically used by the older man to boost testosterone.

It’s been claimed to promote:

  • Energy Levels – Feel less drowsy and fatigued.
  • Better Sex Drive – Get ‘in the mood’ easier and more often.
  • Lower Body Fat – Less effort to cut body fat.
  • Improved Mood – Experience happier mood and more positive outlook.

But how well will it work for you?

In this review we look closer at Prime Male to see how effective it really is – and if it really stands up to it’s claims.

This is what we found:

What makes Prime Male unique:

There are two main features that Prime Male has that most testosterone boosters do not:

  1. A celebrity endorsement from action star Dolph Lundgren
  2. 90 Day money back guarantee

We were amazed to see that Dolph is using Prime Male. It’s a big name for a product like this.

His story with the supplement is pretty interesting too. Take a look:

The 90 day guarantee is a good sign, too. It shows that Propura believe in their product and are willing to stand by it.

As far as we can tell, if you use Prime Male and you don’t feel it’s been working for you after 3 months – you can send it back for a full refund.

Check it out:

Of course, this only applies if you get the 3 month deal. However, for a T-Booster to have it’s full effect, you need to be taking it for this kind of time frame anyway.

You can find out more about the Prime Male guarantee on their website:

What you need to know about the ingredients in Prime Male:

There are no proprietary blends in Prime Male. This is a good thing.

Proprietary blends are what some supplement companies use to hide their dosages. They do this by grouping together ingredients, and displaying them under one large dosage. You don’t know how much of each ingreident you’re getting or how effective they’ll be overall.

Fortunately Prime Male doesn’t do this. Every ingredient is clearly listed, with their individual dosage accounted for.

There are some good choices here as well.

Here’s what you need to know about the main ingredients:

Supplement Facts

Serving Size: 4 capsules
Servings per Container: 30
Amount
per serving
% Daily Value
Vitamin D3 5000 IU 833
Vitamin K2 (as Menaquinone 7) 45 mcg 50
Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxal 5 phosphate) 7.5 mg 577
Magnesium (as magnesium citrate) 100 mg 24
Zinc (as zinc citrate) 30 mg 273
D-Aspartic Acid Calcium Chelate 1600 mg **
Asian Red Ginseng 4:1 extract (root) 120 mg **
Luteolin 60 mg **
Mucuna Pruriens (seed) Ext. (standardized to 15% levadopa) 300 mg **
Nettle Root 10:1 extract 160 mg **
BioPerine® 10 mg **
Boron (as boron amino acid chelate) 5 mg **

Vitamin D3

This is arguably the best natural vitamin you can use for testosterone levels.

This because D3 is technically absorbed. It’s absorbed by your skin from the sun’s rays and is directly linked to improving both testosterone and bone density.

It’s estimated that as many as 1 billion people don’t get enough Vitamin D3 throughout the day. This is due mainly to modern living, with most of us spending our time in doors than outisde.

Supplementing this vitamin is a good idea. Studies have shown that long term supplemention of this vitamin can lead to boosts in testosterone and overall health.

Magnesium

A good mineral for promoting free testosterone.

Magnesium works by inhibiting SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globulin). This is the protein that binds to testosterone and strips it of its anabolic potency – which essentially makes it useless.

By inhibiting SHBG, more testosterone can circulate freely in your body – which gives you more T overall.

Zinc

Another solid mineral for testosterone – however, Zinc doesn’t promote free testosterone. It helps with production.

Zinc is a mineral that is used for many reactions in your brain to help create Luteizing Hormone (LH).

LH is the precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone. The more LH you have in your system, the more of this hormone you will promote.

D-Aspartic Acid

D-Aspartic Acid is also a great choice – and an effective testosterone promoter.

Working in a similar way to Zinc, D-Aspartic Acid also helps to promote the amount of Luteinizing Hormone in your blood stream.

Again this can help as a pre cursor to both growth hormone and testosterone – and give your body that much needed tune up.

Red Asian Ginseng

Now Ginseng has two major benefits – and the main one being your libido.

The main way Ginseng works is by increasing the amount of nitric oxide in your blood stream. This is a vasodilator that allows more blood to flow through your body at once.

This has been seen to help nutrient flow, but also erection quality – which really helps to up your sex drive.

Luteolin

A bioflavanoid that is extracted from fruits like Lemons.

Luteolin is a nutrient you don’t see very often in testosterone boosters – but it’s very effective.

It inhibits the aromatase enzyme which is responsible for producing estrogen levels – meaning there’ll be less of the female hormone in your body.

In a Chinese study, Luteolin was picked out as the most potent natural aromatase inhibitor when compared to nearly 1,400 other natural nutreints.

This is a great addition to Prime Male.

Mucuna Pruriens

Mucuna Pruriens work a little more indirectly to some of the other nutrients in Prime Male – however, it still has an effect.

Mucuna Pruriens contains L-Dopa, a component that helps to increase overall levels of dopamine in your body, while also helping to lower cortisol.

This is what makes the difference. Cortisol is your body’s stress hormone – and directly effects and lowers testosterone levels.

With lower cortisol levels in your bloodstream, the easier it is for your testosterone levels to rise.

Nettle Root

Another good ingredient for Prime Male, Nettle Root works in a similar way to Magnesium.

This is another nutrient that inhibits Sex Hormone Binding Globulin.

As we’ve already covered, the less SHBG in your system, the less testosterone you will have taken away by the protein.

Nettle Root is ideal for keeping your SHBG levels low and your T-levels high.

BioPerine

This is a nice bonus – but won’t do anything for testosterone levels.

BioPerine is essentially black pepper. This has been linked to increasing bioavailability – how well you absorb things.

This can help you make the most out of supplementing Prime Male and allow the effects to kick in at a faster rate.

Boron

The final ingredient in Prime Male – and it’s a good one.

Boron has been seen in numerous studies to help boost testosterone levels, and also lower estrogen.

It’s a good all-rounder mineral, and an essential addition to help support testosterone levels from every angle.

You can find out more about the ingredient in Prime Male over on their website:

Ingredients Profile Overview:

On the whole, this is one of the better nutrient profile’s we’ve seen in a testosterone booster – and definitely the best for low testosterone.

Although it doesn’t pack as much D-Aspartic Acid, or any Oyster Extract or Fenugreek that you’d find in the market leader TestoFuel – Prime Male makes up for it in other ways.

The Mucuna Pruriens, Luteolin, Boron and Stinging Nettle are better geared towards the problems you face as you get older: stress, high estrogen, and the decline of testosterone.

Prime Male is a potent vitality complex and ideal for anyone looking to get back some of that ‘youthful’ energy they had in their former years.

Are there any side effects with Prime Male?

Not that we experienced. We haven’t heard any negative things from other users either.

In fact, one of the more impressive things about Prime Male is its loyal customer base. If you look on their website they have at least 50 different testimonials from customers who all swear by the product.

They’re all pretty in-depth testimonials too – and clearly shows them to be huge fans of the product.

You can see the long list of happy Prime Male users over on their testimonials page here: [link]

How effectively balanced are the servings?

Perfectly balanced. There are 4 individual servings a day.

This is ideal for maximum testosterone production.

It ensures that your body is constantly getting the constant supply of nutrients it needs to keep your testosterone levels elevated and always on the rise.

It really shows that Propura know their stuff with this product.

Potential Drawbacks with Prime Male:

The problem with Prime Male isn’t the ingredients or the servings – but how you acquire it.

Propura don’t sell Prime Male through any retailer and only have it available from their website.

This is annoying if you’re more of a bargain hunter when it comes to your supplements – especially as a single box of Prime Male costs $69.00.

However, there are discounts on multi-box orders, and if you decide to purchase the 3 month supply you’ll get an extra box of Prime Male for free.

Not only that you’ll be covered by that 90 day guarantee.

We have to say it’s refreshing for us to see that the only faults we can find with this testosterone booster has nothing to do with the supplement itself.

Prime Male Review Conclusion – Is it effective?

On the whole, Prime Male is the best natural testosterone booster we’ve seen for dealing with low T.

It’s equipped with an efficient serving schedule and a collection of estrogen inhibitors, and free testosterone boosters. Which can help a lot in the fight against low testosterone levels.

Ideally you want to get the 3 month package. Not only will this give your body the time it needs to rebuild your T, but it’s also covered by a 90 day guarantee in the unlikely case it doesn’t work out for you.
