What does Modern Man V3 do?
This is our Modern Man V3 review, a testosterone booster with claims to promote:
- Muscle Mass
- Energy
- Testosterone
- Libido
But how well will it work for you?
In this review, we look closer at this supplement to see how effective it really is.
This is what we’ve found:
What you need to know about the Modern Man V3 ingredients:
There are some ingredients in here that will help with testosterone – but we think more needs to be added.
Don’t get us wrong, this isn’t the worst testosterone booster we’ve seen – we just think it needs a few improvements.
We say this because not all the ingredients in here are focused on improving your T levels – and there are only a few ingredients in here.
Below, we’ve written up the main nutrients in Modern Man V3, followed by our summary and suggestions on how it could be improved.
This is what you need to know:
Caffeine
This isn’t a great start to Modern Man V3, as it won’t help your testosterone, it could help in other ways though.
Caffeine is going to help you more in the gym. It’s arguably the best natural stimulant out there.
It’s been seen in numerous studies to help improve energy, metabolism, focus and even power output.
This makes it good for keeping you going during a work out – but sadly, it won’t do much for testosterone.
Theobroma Cacao
This won’t help with your testosterone levels either in Modern Man V3.
Theobroma is full of the amino acid Theobromine. Theobromine can help improve your body’s overall circulation and blood flow.
This can help you to absorb more out of this supplement and help it to activate in your system faster.
When it comes to direct testosterone boosting though, you’re not going to notice much of a difference.
Ashwagandha
This is a better choice in Modern Man V3. Ashwagandha helps as an anti stressor.
Why does this matter?
Because as an anti stressor it can help to reduce your body’s levels of the hormone cortisol. This is your body’s stress hormone, and the more stressed you are, the less testosterone you have.
This comes down to a hormonal balancing act in your body known as homeostasis. Essentially, the more you have of one hormone, the less you have of another.
Aswagandha to help keep your cortisol under control, your testosterone levels have more support to rise.
Coleus Forskohlii
This is a herb in Modern Man V3 which is fairly unreliable.
It’s claimed to help promote your body’s levels of testosterone, while also increasing overall fat loss.
However, the studies have not sounded as promising. It’s not the most reliable option out there.
More research needs to be done into this nutrient before we can have the confidence in recommend it to you as a good option.
Eurycoma Longifolia
Also known as Tongkat Ali and Longjack. This isn’t a good testosterone booster in Modern Man V3, but it could help in other ways.
The only times this nutrient has been seen to help testosterone levels is in rats. Unfortunately, the results have failed to scale up to humans.
That said, some benefits did scale up. Eurycoma has been seen to help promote libido and sex drive both in rats and humans.
It may help with your sex drive, but when it comes to actual testosterone – you’re not going to notice much difference.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
On the whole, Modern Man V3 doesn’t have the best ingredients that we’ve seen in a testosterone booster.
The main benefits here are the Ashwagandha, and the Caffeine for workouts. Aside from that, there’s not a lot in here that will help you out for testosterone, or in the gym.
The rest is more general support.
In our opinion a lot more could be added to this supplement to help make it more effective. More study backed ingredients would include Zinc, Magnesium, Fenugreek, Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid and Boron.
For example, both Zinc and D-Aspartic Acid can be used for chemical reactions in your brain to help create the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). This is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone.
The more of it you have in your system, the more support your body has to grow your testosterone.
Whereas Fenugreek can help regulate your blood sugar, which helps control you insulin. Similar in a way Ashwagandha does with cortisol, Fenugreek controls insulin which allows your testosterone to have more support to rise.
It’s a shame more ingredients like this weren’t added into this product.
Safety: Are there any side effects?
Not that we’ve noticed, all the ingredients in here are completely natural.
You shouldn’t run into any side effects from supplementing this product.
That said, if you are concerned, you should always speak to your doctor before taking a new supplement that you’re unsure of.
How effectively balanced are the servings in Modern Man V3?
There’s only 2 servings a day, so it could be better?
What’s wrong with 2 servings?
The problem is that you’re only getting a few hours of benefit from each serving. This means you’re not getting enough to keep you covered for the whole day.
Ideally, what you want is a supplement that has 3 – 4 servings a day, this can ensure that you’re getting a constant supply of the nutrients you need to keep your testosterone levels on the rise for as long as possible.
It’s a shame it isn’t set up to work like this.
