What you need to know about the ingredients in Genius Pre:
On the whole – the ingredients in Genius Pre are pretty good. There’s just a few additions that could be made here – and a few other ingredients that could be removed.
Overall though, it’s one of the better options out there – take a look:
One of the better amino acids for muscle pumps and blood flow.
Citrulline has been seen in numerous studies to help promote nitric oxide – a vasodilator that increases blood flow.
This can help with overall muscle pump in the gym and can also support endurance.
There’s a good amount here too – studies have shown you need to between 6000mg – 8000mg for the best effects. With 6000mg per serving, Genius Pre is well dosed and will be effective.
One of the better amino acids out for endurance and power – however it may cause some side effects.
Beta Alanine has been seen to work by buffering the acid in your muscles.
This can help improve your strength and overall levels – that said, many users have reported side effects from using this nutrient.

Taken from Red Beetroot, Betaine has been seen to improve the amount of Plasma Nitrate in your bloodstream.
This has been linked to improve overall endurance and is great for boosting your performance in the gym.
An anti stressor amino acid – tyrosine has been seen to help reduce the overall amount of cortisol in your body.
Cortisol is the stress hormone in your body, it’s at its highest when you’re at your most stressed. Which can make you feel anxious and distracted.
By reducing the overall amount of stress in your body – Tyrosine allows you focus more and concentrate on your session.
Not a good option – Arginine isn’t a great amino acid to use.
Although it has been in numerous studies to improve nitric oxide – which promotes blood flow and muscle pumps – this does not apply to oral supplementation.
By taking arginine orally – you won’t get the blood flow and muscle pump benefits.
A good amino acid for circulation – but not so much for improving your workout.
Taurine has been seen to improve blood flow and circulation – but not to the extent that it helps muscle pumps.
It may help Genius Pre to activate quicker – but on the whole, won’t make too much of a difference.
Alpha GPC has both good and bad points.
It’s been seen in some studies to help improve power output – and to some degree focus.
However, studies have shown mixed results. It may not have much of an effect.
One of the best natural herbs for mood and motivation on the market.
Rhodiola Rosea has been seen in numerous studies to help reduce depression and fatigue – while also helping to promote feelings of well being and happiness.
One of the better amino acids – commonly found in dark chocolate.
Theobromine isn’t too special. It’s been seen in some studies to help promote blood flow.
Much like Taurine, it will have some effect on circulation, but on the whole – it won’t make too much of a difference overall. It may help with faster absorption.
Not a great option. Huperzine A is meant to help improve focus – but studies have shown it to fall short of the mark.
The problem is that this nutrient is too easy to build a tolerance to.
If you take this nutrient regularly the effects will wear off quickly.

On the whole, there are some good ingredients out there in Genius Pre – however there are certain areas that could use improvement.
Our first concern is the beta alanine as that has been linked to causing side effects in numerous users.
Secondly, there could be more added here to this product – inclusions of L-Theanine or Coconut Water could make this product have all the more impact.
Are there any side effects?
The main risks you should be concerned with here is the Beta Alanine.
This amino acid has been seen in numerous studies to help promote buffer acid in the muscles – but it has also been seen to cause the condition paresthesia.
Paresthesia is an itching in both the hands and face. This isn’t harmful, but it can be incredibly distracting while training.
It may not be your best option.
Could you take 2 servings at once?
There are no stimulants in Genius Pre – so it is a possibility – you just have to consider how you feel about doubling your chances of side effects with Beta Alanine.
Personally we don’t think it’s worth the risk. The product is well dosed where it needs to be and you can use it as directed.
