There are some good ingredients in REDCON1 TANGO, but we think more could be added to it.
Why?
Because, although there are some good ingredients in here which can help with recovery it doesn’t do much for electrolytes.
More could be added to this supplement.
Below, we look closer at REDCON1 TANGO’s ingredients along with our summary and how it may be improved.
This is what you need to know:
Creatine
This is a great addition to REDCON1 TANGO. Creatine is an effective amino acid for recovery.
So, what does Creatine do? It can help improve your overall levels of ATP.
ATP is a resource that your muscles use for energy. The more you workout the more you lose.
Supplementing Creatine can help to recover that lost ATP which can help restore energy to your muscles, but it can also help in other ways.
Creatine can help to promote protein synthesis (which can help you use protein to build muscle more effectively). It can also help with strength, muscle growth and a faster recovery.
This is a great addition to this supplement.
Betaine Anhydrous
This is another good choice in REDCON1 TANGO.
Betaine Anhydrous which is a component which is found in Red Beets.
So, what does it do?
It can help to promote your overall levels of plasma nitrate in your blood which can help restore muscle endurance and blood flow.
This is important as it can help promote more nutrients flowing to your muscles after a workout to help your muscles start their recovery process faster.
Taurine
Another good supporting choice in REDCON1 TANGO.
Taurine is an amino acid which can help promote blood and nutrient flow.
The advantage of this is that it can help increase the amount of nutrients you get to your muscles after a hard workout.
It’s good for improving your recovery time, but make sure you’re eating enough to keep the supply flowing.
L-Ornithine L-Aspartate
This is a nice touch in REDCON1 TANGO – but there’s not a lot of studies out there.
The main way L-Ornithine L-Aspartate may help is by reducing the amount of serum ammonia in your body. By reducing the ammonia after a workout, it can help reduce your overall levels of fatigue.
However, there are only 2 studies out there to reflect this. More research may need to be done to confirm these findings.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
On the whole, REDCON1 TANGO does have some good ingredients, it isn’t the best post workout that we’ve come across.
A few more ingredients could be added to this supplement, specifically for helping with electrolytes.
You lose a lot of electrolytes during training. They send signals to your muscles, with a smaller amount, you feel a lot more stiff.
What would help improve REDCON1 TANGO?
The main ingredients that would help the most are Coconut Water, Himalayan Salt and Pomegranate.
Coconut Water and Himalayan Salt are both full of electrolytes. They contain magnesium, potassium, sodium, calcium and even some glucose. This can all help restore what you’ve lost from sweating. Great for getting you back on the road to recovery.
Not only that, studies show that Coconut Water is just as effective as an isotonic sports drink – but without all the artificial ingredients.
Pomegranate helps too. It’s an anti inflammatory that can help fight oxidative stress. This can reduce the overall damage to your muscles after a workout – allowing them to recover faster. Also, by reducing inflammation, Pomegranate increases nutrient flow to your muscles – which nourishes them faster than usual.
It’s a shame more ingredients like this have not been added to this supplement.
REDCON1 TANGO Side Effects – Are there any?
Not that we can see, all the ingredients in here are natural and don’t have links to causing side effects.
We can’t speak for everyone, but we find it unlikely that supplementing this would cause you problems.
If you have concerns, you should speak to your doctor before taking it.
