And from our experience, it works damn well.

You can’t lose with this one.
We’re really impressed with Performance Lab, and really setting a standard for the future of the industry.
Our Editor’s Experience with Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout:
I used Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout for a month after every workout. It definitely helps a lot. Now I use it after every gym session.
The bottle is small so it can be easily taken with you in a gym bag for after a workout. All you need to do is take 4 capsules with plenty of water after a workout.
My background:
I typically go the gym 5 days a week. Either in the morning or on my lunch break at work. Usually I do a heavy weight session, and sometimes follow it up with some High Intensity Interval Training.
I go hard and it leaves me feeling sluggish after almost every session. This is why I volunteered to be the one to test this supplement.
I noticed the following results from taking it:
1. No crashes after a session
After supplementing this, me and the team both started to feel less drained after training. It was easier to get back into working and focusing on the day after the gym.
If you’re the type of person who gives their all every session, you’ll know how bad it can feel afterwards. This can help get your brain back in gear after pushing yourself.
2. Less sore the morning after
Most mornings, especially if I’m doing compound lifts – I’ll really feel it the day after.
It’s manageable, but it can difficult when you know you’re back in the gym later that day. Taking Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout reduces it a lot.
I still felt slightly sore, but nowhere near what I used to feel like.
It reduces the pain enough that you can still go as hard as you did in the last session. If you’ve got a sports competition coming up, this would be great for helping you train day-in day-out.
3. I got stronger and broke plateaus
As the recovery was faster, I found that I could push harder in each session.
This allowed me to do more than I usually could, and let me slowly take over my old 1 rep maxes.
I managed to put up an extra 15lbs (7.5kg) on my deadlift, 10lbs on my squat (5kg) and finally 5.5lbs on my bench (2.5kg).
This is something I wasn’t expecting at all – and an incredible bonus.
Do I still take it?
After finishing the bottle, I ordered a 3 month supply from Performance Lab. I’m still working through it, but will probably order more after I’ve finished!

What you need to know about the Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout ingredients:
It’s a no bullshit post workout. Everything you need after a workout packed into 4 ingredients.
It refuels your muscles, electrolytes, energy levels and makes sure that it all gets absorbed as quickly and effectively as possible.
Each ingredient is premium and sourced to be as effective as possible.
This is what you need to know:
Creatine (Creapure pH10) 1000mg
This is a great addition in Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout.
Creatine is an ideal ingredient for anyone after a hard workout.
So, why is it so effective?
It’s an essential amino acid to your body and is responsible for supporting numerous functions.
One of the main things it can do, is increase your ATP levels.
ATP is what your muscles use for energy. The more you have in your system, the more power output and endurance you can deliver in the gym.
After a tough session, your ATP levels are reduced. By supplementing Creatine post-workout, you can start giving your muscles what they need and build back even stronger.
Other benefits of this nutrient include:
- A higher one rep max – Creatine is great for maximal effort training.
- Training for longer – Studies show it increases Anaerobic thresholds.
- Enhancing Focus – Improves brain function and memory.
- Better workouts – More effective glycogen synthesis to help performance.
It’s a fantastic addition to this supplement and exactly what we’re looking for.
Organic Pomegranate Extract (P40p) 500mg
This is another great addition to Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout.
It helps recovery in a different way to Creatine. Instead of helping with ATP levels in your muscles, it helps as anti oxidant, specifically polyphenols.
So, how do polyphenols work?
Pomegranate polyphenols have the ability to help reduce inflammation, neutralize exercise-induced oxidative stress and muscle circulation.
Essentially this means, it can help reduce damage to your muscles after the gym and improve nutrient circulation to your muscles to help them absorb nutrients faster and more effectively.
And why does it matter that it’s P40p?
This is the genius of Opti-Nutra. To make sure your body gets everything it needs, they’ve used P40p – which allows it to pack the anti-oxidant level of 5 pomegranates in a single serving of this supplement.
Think about how large a pomegranate is. You’re getting the benefits of 5 of them in this product without the calories. This gives you an enormous boost to your recovery.
It’s fantastic to see in here.
Organic Coconut Water Crystals 1250mg
Another great choice, and another different approach to recovery in Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout.
Coconut Water can help replenish electrolytes, and rehydrates your muscles incredibly quickly.
In case you didn’t know, Coconut water has a great profile of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and glucose. All the stuff you use up and sweat out from exercise.
Studies show it can work just as effectively as a sports drink after a workout. And to sweeten the deal, it’s completely natural. Nothing artificial, just healthy, effective results.
It’s great for rehydrating you, and aiding a speedy recovery after a tough workout.
Himalayan Salt 350mg
This is more of a support to the Coconut Water, but it’s still great to see in Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout.
It helps to absorb essential amino acids that area all ready in this supplement, along with having a good supply of sodium chloride and a range of trace minerals.
We like it a lot in here, and 350mg of the stuff is plenty.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
On the whole, Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout contains the ideal nutrient profile of what you need after a workout.
- A solid supply of creatine to replenish your ATP levels, and re-energize your muscles.
- Pomegranate polyphenols to reduce damage and increase nutrient flow to your muscles.
- Coconut Water to re-hydrate your body and restore any lost electrolytes.
- And finally, Himalayan Salt to increase overall absorption of amino acids and give your electrolyte profile that extra boost.
Not only that’s there’s research that shows sodium-enriched Coconut Water is incredibly effective for promoting overall hydration.
It’s a supplement that we have a lot of confidence in and recommend to anyone post-workout.
Performance Lab SPORT Post-Workout Side Effects – Are there any?
We find it very unlikely. There have been no side effects reported with this supplement.
The only way we think you could run into problems is if you’re allergic to anything in this supplement.
However, Opti Nutra have gone to great lengths to make this as safe as possible.
For example:
- It’s Vegan Friendly
- Non-GMO
- GMP Certified
- Free of any Synthetics/Artificial Agents
- Gluten Free
- Soy Free

It’s arguably one of the safest supplements on the market.
