What does Truth Nutraceuticals Cortigon do?
This supplement is a nootropic created by the team at Truth Nutraceuticals.
It’s claimed to help promote:
- Energy Levels
- Stress Reduction
- Mental Focus
- Overall Clarity
But how effective is it?
In this review, we look closer at Cortigon to see how effective it really is, and if it can boost cognition.
Here are our findings:
What you need to know about the ingredients in Cortigon:
There are some good ingredients in here, but they could be better.
The main problem with Cortigon’s nutrient profile is that its quite slim.
There’s only a handful of good ingredients here, and there are several other nutrients that could be included here to improve it dramatically.
Here’s what you need to know:
One of the best natural ingredients you can get in a nootropics stack.
Phosphatidylserine has been seen in numerous studies to promote various forms of cognition.
It can help with mood, memory, focus and even reduce cognitive decline.
It’s good that Cortigon has this.
Not as good as Phosphatidylserine – and under dosed in this product.
This amino acid is typically used in sports supplements and has been seen to promote both energy and metabolism.
It has some minor effect on cognition, but it’s not significant.
Studies suggest that this nutrient should be dosed between 500 – 2500mg per serving. With only 100mg in this product – it’s not a great option.
Often suggested to have more of a placebo effect than actually working.
Studies on Ginkgo Biloba have always been unreliable – with it only working for some users, and not for others.
The evidence for it actually having an effect is so thin that researchers believe it may actually just be working as a placebo rather than a real nootropic.
It’s not the strongest option out there.
A good solid nootropic.
After being absorbed, Choline is converted into CDP-Choline (Citicholine) which is the learning transmitter.
This has been seen in numerous studies to help with cognition – but supplementing Citicholine straight, and cutting out the middle man may provide better results.
Not so much of as a cognitive booster, as it is an absorption aid.
Inositol has been seen in various studies to help increase overall blood flow and improve how your body absorbs the supplement.
A combination of fatty acids and Omega-3’s.
DHA is fish oil. It helps various aspects of body from the joints to the brain.
When it comes to cognition it won’t make much of a difference. It just supports overall health of your brain rather than boosting any abilities.
It’s a nice addition though.
Ingredient Profile Overview:
There are better nootropics stacks out there.
The problem here is that the stack is too thin to have enough core ingredients to effectively promote cognition.
There are so many options missing from this blend that would make it so much better.
The Phosphatidylserine is good, but if it also contained Bacopa Monnieri, L-Theanine and Vinpocetine it would be a hell of a lot better.
There’s a lot that could be added to this noot to help improve it.
Are there any side effects?
All the ingredients used in Cortigon are completely natural.
From our experience and from what others are saying online, we have had heard of no side effects from using this product.
Is this the best Nootropics Stack?
No. There’s better:
We review an endless amount of nootropics every month searching for the most effective one on the market.
We look for supplements that deliver:
- Pure Mental Clarity
- 100% Natural Ingredients
- Intense Focus
- Effective Memory Recall
- Noticeable Verbal Fluency
- Support Brain Functions
- Prevention against Cognitive Decline
- Value for Money

Truth Nutraceuticals Cortigon Review Conclusion – Is it effective?
There could be a lot done to this nootropic to make it a more effective option.
From this review, here are the problems we’ve noticed with Cortigon;
- Not all effective ingredients – Some of the nutrients used lack proper clinical backing.
- Missing more effective nutrients – There are several ingredients like Bacopa Monnieri that would dramatically improve this product.
- Under dosed in places – The L-Carnitine was significantly under dosed in this product.
It’s clear to see that this isn’t your best option for a nootropic stack on the market.
