Ingredients: What’s in Brain Hacker?
There are plenty of good ingredients in here, however, this doesn’t apply to every one of them.
Some of them don’t have enough studies behind them to vouch for their effectiveness. There is room for improvement.
That said, it is far from the worst we’ve seen.
Below, we look closer at the ingredients in this nootropic along with our summary and suggestions on how to make it better.

This is a great ingredient to start Brain Hacker.
So, what it makes it so good in this nootropic?
There are numerous studies which show this nootropic is an effective choice for any stack. Research shows it has four main benefits.
It can help you by increasing mood, memory and focus while also helping to prevent cognitive decline. This makes it a good nootropic to give a stack well-balanced boost.
This isn’t a great choice in this nootropic from 303 Supplements.
Glutamine is a nutrient that’s commonly found in your diet. You can find it in meat, dairy, noots and more. It’s likely that you won’t be deficient in it.
Unfortunately, you’ll only get the benefits from this nutrient if you don’t have enough of it in your system.
So, how does it actually help?
Research shows that L-Glutamine is good for reducing sugar cravings, aside from that it won’t make much of a noticeable difference. It’s not a strong choice in this nootropic.
This is a much better option in this nootropic. Bacopa is a very effective cognitive enhancer.
There’s numerous studies out there which shows that this herb is effective for mental agility.
Studies show that supplementing Bacopa can help promote memory formations, while also reducing your anxiety levels. It can help make you more calm and collected during days where you’re under a lot of pressure.
This however, is not a good choice in Brain Hacker. There’s too many conflicting studies out there.
Research has gone in to Ginkgo Biloba and in some cases it has been seen to help promote cognition. However in other cases it has no effect at all.
There appears to be no in-between. With such dramatic differences, some researchers are convinced that the effects may only be placebo.
More research is needed, but we don’t have a lot of confidence in this supplement.
A more effective choice than Ginkgo in this nootropic, however, we have concerns about the dosage of the L-Carnitine in Brain Hacker.
Before we get into that; what does L-Carnitine do?
It’s an amino acid which studies show can help promote focus, energy and metabolism – which is a great fit for a nootropic.
However, studies show that for the best effects you need between 500 – 2500mg per day. As there’s only 50mg per daily serving in this supplement, you’re unlikely to get the best results.
This definitely isn’t a great choice in this stack from 303 Supplements.
DMAE has links to causing side effects which we’ll cover in the side effects section later.
It’s used in nootropics because it has claims to help prevent cognitive decline. However there are very little human studies to prove this. It’s under-researched and potentially dangerous.
This isn’t a good choice in 303 Supplements Brain Hacker.
Don’t get us wrong, Caffeine does have benefits. It can help to promote energy levels and focus, however, it is also a stimulant.
Being a stimulant is the problem. With caffeine, you can get a boost, but the effects wear off quickly and give you an energy crash. Crashing would ruin your concentration for the rest of the day and work against you.
Keeping caffeine out of nootropics is always a good move. Then you, the consumer can decide if you want to make it stimulated or not by having it with a caffeinated drink.
Gamma – Aminobutyric Acid
Also more commonly known as GABA. This is a naturally occurring compound in your body and can help reduce your overall levels of anxiety.
It can help you to feel more relaxed, which can improve your focus. However, studies show it may not work so well with oral supplementation.
It’s difficult for it to cross the blood-brain barrier when taken orally. This means you amy not get the full effects.
This is a nice support in Brain Hacker. Vinpocetine comes from the Periwinkle plant.
What does it do?
It’s a nutrient which can help improve blood flow while also helping with memory formations. We’re happy to see it in here.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
There are some good ingredients in here, but it isn’t the best nootropic that we have come across.
We say this because things like the L-Carnitine are under-dosed, Caffeine can cause energy crashes, Ginkgo lacks studies and DMAE may cause side effects.
But it isn’t a lost cause, a few changes to this nootropics would make a lot of difference.
What would help Brain Hacker?
Removing the weaker, more risky ingredients in this supplement and replacing them with more effective options.
L-Tyrosine, L-Theanine, Rhodiola Rosea, and CDP Choline would all work well in this supplement.
Let’s have a look at these ingredients in further detail…
This is an anti-stress amino acid. Supplementing it can help reduce your levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
When your cortisol levels are high, it’s hard for you to concentrate and be productive.
By using something like L-Tyrosine (Ashwagandha would work too), you can help reduce your stress levels and have better focus.
Another effective option that would work in this stack form 303 Supplements. L-Theanine is an amino acid that promotes the relaxation hormones in your body like dopamine, serotonin and GABA.
It can help you feel more relaxed and make it easier for you to concentrate.
This is a Scandinavian herb which can help with mood and motivation.
Studies show that supplementing Rhodiola Rosea can help reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression while also boosting your mood and feeling of well-being.
This help you stay more up-beat throughout the day and put you in a mindset to be more productive.
Another choice that would work well in Brain Hacker.
CDP Choline can be used by your brain to help promote your learning neurotransmitters. In doing so, you can help promote your overall attention span and memory.
The can help make you more focused and sharper throughout the day.
It’s a shame more ingredients like this are not in this supplement.
Safety Check: Are there any side effects?
Your main concern here is the DMAE.
There’s not a lot of human research into it, however, rat studies show this nutrient to cause birth defects.
That’s a pretty serious side effect. There’s a chance that it could cause similar problems in humans too.
If you’re trying for a baby, or pregnant, avoid this supplement. It could also cause other risk but more research is needed on DMAE in humans to know for sure.
If you have any concerns you should speak to your doctor before using it.

- Missing Core Nutrients – More study backed nootropics could help improve this stack.
