What does Nature Bound Vision Support do?
This is our Nature Bound Vision Support review, a vision supplement with claims to promote:
- Reducing Macula Degeneration
But how well does it work for you?
In this review, we look closer at this supplement to see how effective it really is.
This is what we’ve found…
What you need to know about the Nature Bound Vision Support ingredients:
There are some great ingredients in this supplement. Plenty of the nutrients in here can help promote eye health and vision.
However, there are a few changes we would make.
Below, we look closer at this supplement’s ingredients, along with our summary and suggestions to see how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
A good start to Nature Bound Vision Support, and a nice supporting ingredient.
It won’t have a huge impact, but it is good for eye maintenance. Vitamin A (also known as Beta Carotene) is good for modulating your skin, immune system, mucus, and obviously your vision.
It’s a nice choice in this supplement to keep your eyes in a healthy and effective state.
This is a nice supporting ingredient in Nature Bound Vision Support.
Zinc is a mineral which can help your body in numerous ways, one of those ways being that it can help you with your vision.
Found commonly in nuts, Zinc has been seen in studies to help prevent against Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
What is your macula?
This is part of your eye which is in control of your central vision. It’s essential in charge of what you see in front of you. Without it you wouldn’t be able to drive, read or see directly in front of you.
It’s something you don’t want to lose in your later life. Supplementing Zinc is a small way that you can help prepare for your eyes future.
This is a great addition to Nature Bound Vision Support.
Lutein is a strong antioxidant which can help to improve your vision by supporting your macula.
The main way Lutein helps you is by helping to protect your eyes against blue light. Blue light is all around you. It’s what comes off the sun, computer screens and artificial lights. They can be very damaging to your eyes over time.
Lutein helps to handle this by helping to reduce the glare that you get from this light, as well as speeding up your recovery time from it.
Other ways Lutein can help by improving your direct vision, along with contrast sensitivity which can help you to distinguish between subtle colors and shades.
It’s a great addition to this supplement, but we Zeaxanthin would work a lot better with it. There’s studies which shows that they work well when combined.
This is a great ingredient in Nature Bound Vision Support.
Bilberry Fruit has a lot of benefits when it comes to helping your vision.
So, how does it work?
The main thing that it offers you is a good amount of C3G. That’s Cynadin-3-Glucoside, this is an antioxidant that can help promote your overall levels of Rhodopsin.
Rhodopsin is a resource in your body which is what your eyes use for night vision. The better your Rhodopsin levels, the easier it is to see in the dark.
Not only that, it can help promote blood flow to your eyes, which can help to improve your overall vision performance. It’s a good ingredient in this supplement.
Grape Seed, Quercetin and L-Taurine
These ingredients have all been grouped together in our Nature Bound Vision Support review, because they all do similar things.
So, what do they all do?
Grape, Quercetin and L-Taurine all help to promote your overall blood and nutrient flow.
This is good for helping your body absorb and use the nutrients in this supplement at a much faster rate, but also supplying your eyes with more blood flow. To a degree, this could also help with visual performance.
It’s a nice support in here, and not much else when it comes to direct vision.
This is a more risky choice in Nature Bound Vision Support.
NAC is a nutrient which has some benefits, but it can also has the potential to cause side effects.
The main way it can help is that it can help prevent against dry eyes, and skin flaking around the eyes.
This can help if you are suffering from these issues. We’ll go into more detail of the side effects of NAC later on.
Nutrient Profile Overview:
On the whole, Nature Bound Vision Support doesn’t have the best ingredients that we’ve seen in a vision supplement.
However, we do have issues with the NAC side effect risk, which we’ll cover later.
Not only that, we think more could be added to this supplement which could help improve this supplement.
What would add to Nature Bound Vision Support?
The main ingredients that we think could be added to this supplement are Zeaxanthin, Black Currant and Saffron.
The main thing Zeaxanthin does is that it can support Lutein. Combining the two gives your macula a lot more support.
This can help protect your eyes more from blue light, and improve your recovery from glare and focus.
Whereas Black Currant as a good level of C3G, which is also in Bilberry. As we’ve already said, C3G can help boost your overall levels of Rhodopsin which can improve night vision and seeing in the dark.
Finally, Saffron is a good option because it contains Safranal.
Safranal can also help reduce glare, but can also help improve motion detecion which can help you to see finer more subtle movements.
It would be great these ingredients in a supplement like this.
Nature Bound Vision Support Side Effects – Are there any?
Your main concern here has got to be the NAC.
Although NAC can help with preventing dry eyes, it has links to causing numerous side effects.
Reports of the side effects associated with NAC include:
- Gastric Distress
- Low Blood Pressure
This is definitely not what you want you’re trying to boost your vision.
If you have concerns you should speak to your doctor before using this supplement.
